I had nice exchange with a Sears Customer Service Rep. Getting basic information is right in between pulling teeth and playing handball against a curtain. The pain I have to experience when contacting passionless, broken, soul-crushed reps makes it really hard to sympathize with them.

16. People will always, always be in the market for a story that resonates with them. Your product will either have this quality or it won’t. If your product fails this test, quit your job and go find something else. Just making the product incrementally cheaper or better won’t help you.
I am big believer that if you focus on your own narrative, and really zero in on the themes you experienced, it becomes very sharable. In fact, if you keep in mind that there is somebody out there who experienced the same struggles you experienced, it becomes intrinsically more valuable than any self-help book. The currency of "getting it" is what matters most when thinking of what to share from your own little world.
